Well these past few days have been busy busy busy!! We are officially moved into our new home! There are still boxes to unpack and rooms to decorate but thanks to both of our families... Most items have been unpacked.
I was so thankful to get my kitchen unpacked and put away. That always seems to be the hardest room of the house. The "million extra kitchen items" that i always seem to forget I have.... Are waiting to be put away in their new home. A cupboard in the basement.
Chloe has done extremely well. While still asking to go bye bye at times, she is loving having both mommy and daddy here at home together! She wouldn't let daddy out of her sight for quite some time this morning.
We are running into a few issues with this home and are rather sad to see that happening since this is our nicest home yet. The master bath toilet leaked into the ceiling of our guest bathroom. The kids bathroom toilet is now leaking. The dishwasher is leaking. The fireplace doesn't work. The dryer hose was off when we ran our first load. The refrigerator is not staying cold. Oh boy!! I guess I am thankful we have someone to come and fix all these little things!!!
On a bright note. Our neighbor to the west has already cone over to introduce herself and invite us to a neighborhood get together (I was taking a nap and not able to meet her). We have a church in walking distance that we are going to visit. Christopher and Chloe and myself are together.
On a sad note. It was very hard saying goodbye to my family today. I'm thankful we are not further away but yet it's still hard knowing i am not 15 minutes from them. Glad to know I can drive down to visit when needed!!!
My mom was my camera these past two days. So when I get pics from her I'll share.
Going to do my best to keep updated on here. :)
