The past two years, this event has been held at the "Four Seasons" and their service is REMARKABLE! This year, the view from our room (41st floor) was so amazing!! With this potentially being the last year of attending, we enjoyed the night away even more so!
The View from our room! It was great!!!
Christopher and I before we headed to dinner....
25 Weeks pregnant and enjoying a night out...
One thing that I will say I am so thankful that my husband learned by example from his parents is the importance of taking time for just the two of us. He has always put an importance on our anniversary and other times for us to just get away as a couple and enjoy some quality time together... I believe this is one quality that so many couples neglect and it is so important!!! For example we have gone and celebrated our anniversary with a weekend trip every single year! On our first anniversary, we visited Michigan for a weekend away. We also found our on our actual anniversary that we were expecting Chloe! :)
Christopher and I on our first anniversary trip to South Haven, Michigan.
On our second anniversary, we went on a fun "Little House on the Prairie" adventure. Now Chloe was with us because she was still nursing at this age, but we fully enjoyed the time away together! :) On the actual date of our anniversary, my parents came and babysat Chloe while we went out to dinner.... Ask my mom about this... Chloe scream cried the entire time... I think my mom did too! :)
Visiting the Little House in the Big Woods site! This has been a dream of mine to go see all the different Little House sites!!!
Chloe was SUPER excited to visit the log cabin! :)
Chloe and Daddy swimming at the hotel... Look at how bald she is! :)
Our family of three!
On our third anniversary, we visited Springfield, IL while my parents again watched Chloe. We had just recently found out we were expecting baby #2 as well! :) As I am looking at my pictures, I notice, we didn't get any pictures of me! Oh well! :)
So remember... it is important for married couples to get some alone time with one another... to refresh and relax and enjoy the company of one another. In the midst of everyday life, this helps you to remember all the reasons why you love your significant other! :)
